Friday: Arrival and Welcome Party
As the sun dipped below the horizon on Friday evening, Osea Island came to life with the arrival of close friends and the family of the happy couple. The festivities kicked off with a beachside welcome party at The Captains House, complete with a BBQ, bonfire, and drinks. The laughter echoed through the night as guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and picturesque views leading up to the big day on Saturday.
We were pleased to support the welcome party with background music and lighting to set the mood.
Saturday: The Magical Wedding Ceremony
Saturday was the day that Olly and Amelia had been eagerly awaiting. The couple exchanged their vows in The Powerhouse on the island. The intimate ceremony was attended by close friends and family, creating an emotional and heart-warming atmosphere.
The ceremony space designed by Alice Wilkes looked fantastic, with flowers by All for Love London, the Powerhouse was completly transformed. We provided the stage and ceremony lighting using all white equipment, as well as the sound for the ceremony.
From the ceremony the couple moved to the Shack Field where they and their guests enjoyed drinks and music from Hope Winter.
The guests then moved into the Glass Orangery. This unique structure was installed on Osea Island specifically for the wedding. Here the couple and their guests enjoyed the most amazing wedding breakfast, provided by Gather and Feast. The orangery was divided into two sections by a white cloth reveal. One section was for the entrance and dinner, and the hidden section was revealed later in the evening for the party.
Once dinner was finished and the speeches made, the dancefloor was revealed. Music by Juke Joints and DJ Toby Anstis entertained the crowd until the early evening. Spotlight Sound provided all the technical elements for the entertainment and the sound and stage setup for the wedding.
At 10PM guests moved into The Bomb Factory, here DJ Toby Anstis continued the party late into the night. Here we provided a complete DJ setup, sound and lighting system for the wedding party.
Sunday: MursFest
The long-awaited day has finally arrived – the private festival known as MURS FEST, celebrating the union of Olly Murs and Amelia Tank. It's a day filled with excitement and anticipation.
To ensure that the guests have a complete festival experience, Osea Island has been transformed. The transformation includes a Main Stage, a towering Big Wheel, a charming Carrousel, various Food Outlets, a Merch Stand stocked with souvenirs, and an array of other activities for everyone's enjoyment.
Our role encompassed not only providing site-wide power but also managing all technical production aspects on stage. This encompassed overseeing the sound system, lighting setup, and all the equipment essential for the acts slated to perform on this special day.
Entertainment for the day was delivered by none other than Olly Murs' very own band, creating a lively atmosphere for all attendees. Additionally, the resident Heart DJ, Pandora, kept the music flowing, ensuring that everyone was in high spirits.
However, the most thrilling moment of the day, a well-guarded secret known only to a select few, was the surprise performance by none other than Craig David himself. This unexpected addition added an extra layer of excitement and delight to an already remarkable celebration.

Spotlight Sound worked closely with wedding designer Alice Wilkes to provide the technical production of the wedding. We were responsible for the sound and lighting setup for the wedding ceremony, the stage, sound and lighting in the Orangery, the sound and lighting for the late night wedding party, the sound, lighting and technical elements of the wedding festival, as well as site wide power and lighting.
