Off Grid Sessions is a unique event that brings together leaders, creatives, and professionals for two days of talks, seminars, and workshops, followed by an evening celebration. The event is hosted on the stunning and secluded Osea Island, and required a solution that was dynamic and adaptable. Spotlight Sound, the island’s preferred provider of event production and AV services, stepped in to ensure the event’s success.
Off Grid at Osea Island
We collaborated closely with the Off Grid team to understand their vision and requirements for the event. A detailed site visit ensured each location across the island was accounted for, and bespoke solutions were designed for each venue.
The main focus was on The Dome, where the attendees spent most of their time, for talks and seminars, but the event also had exclusivity to other parts of the island for other sessions and evening celebrations. Osea Island’s unique charm lies in its isolation, so making robust and reliable power and AV services even more critical.
For The Dome, we installed a versatile stage setup that accommodated a wide range of presentations. Lighting rigs were added for the talks during the day and were able to be transitioned seamlessly into a setup for the evening celebrations.
The Outcome
Our high quality sound systems ensured every speaker was heard clearly, regardless of where attendees sat in The Dome. Video projection systems added a visual dimension to the seminars and created engaging multimedia experiences.
The production needed to shift gears from the professional tone of the talks and seminars to the vibrant energy of the evening party without a hitch. Dynamic sound and light displays brought the energy up several notches, delivering an unforgettable evening for all attendees.
